Let Your Story Explain Without Keeping You Stuck

A reason can explain how you arrived here. It does not have to decide where you stay.

Your circumstances have a history, and some of that history matters a great deal. Taking ownership does not require pretending otherwise. But I think it is worth noticing when an explanation begins to close every door ahead of us. We can acknowledge what happened and still ask what is possible now. The next step may be small. It may require help. It can still be yours to choose.
