Pay Attention to the Conversation Inside Your Mind

Your attitude is influenced by the conversation you keep having inside your mind.

What have you been telling yourself about today? That it will be a burden? That nothing will work? That there might be something worth noticing? Our circumstances matter, and so do our bodies, our responsibilities, and the support available to us. Still, I think the words we repeat to ourselves deserve some attention. You do not have to force a cheerful thought. Begin by noticing whether your inner conversation is fair, useful, and true.
