Simple and Easy Are Different

A clear next step can still require courage, practice, and effort.

Sometimes we understand exactly what needs to happen. We need to have the conversation, change the habit, ask for help, or begin again. Understanding the step does not automatically make it easy to take. I think we can acknowledge that without deciding we are incapable. Give yourself an honest plan and reasonable support. A simple direction can still involve difficult work. Difficulty is information to work with, not proof that you should stop.
